The following selected 101 quotations were channeled by different people through the guiding voice of Holy Teacher Tian Ran.  Holy Teacher wanted to voice his True Heart to each of his beloved disciple.  He made it clear that this book of quotations is the guide for cultivating and propagating Tao during this period of the Last Chance, and should be spread to the entire world in the future.

Verse 040

Follow the predecessors' pioneering Tao spirit to extend and spiritually bequeath the lineage of awakening self and awakening others.  Practice Tao and Truth without duality, personal preferences or attachments.  Try your best to stabilize and brace the Tao community.

Verse 041

Follow the teachings and texts of the ancient saints.  Observe and reflect upon the good deeds and virtues of all upstanding people, and follow their example.  We can uphold their code of conduct and improve ourselves while emulating virtuous people.  Use saints, buddhas and individuals as role models, not as idols for worship.

Verse 042

In order to actualize the momentum of the big Buddha Maitreya family, we need to practice good virtue; highly regard the Precepts and practice of self-discipline; and encourage and support each other to cultivate and propagate Tao together.

Verse 044

Hundreds of rivers flow to one ocean and return to one Source.  When we selflessly disregard personal sacrifice and cultivate with great virtue, we will be fulfilled in God.  Especially in the unpredictable future of the Tao community, hold fast to our mission and responsibility.

Verse 050

We must be cautious because everyone’s ancestors and offspring are affected by one’s fluctuating cultivation!

Verse 051

If you do not read the teachings and texts of saints and sages regularly, you will not understand their compassion, virtue and determination.  Whether we ascend or descend, depends on our state of mind.  When you encounter challenges, how can you put their examples to good use and calmly face life and death?

Verse 052

I am weary, but who can understand?  Who can help share some of the responsibilities?  I hope you can actively pioneer Tao; otherwise, continue your self-cultivation.  As I have said before, “We cultivate Tao to purify our hearts.  We propagate Tao with heart-felt sincerity.  Persist in cultivating yourself and saving others.”

 Verse 053

Tao cultivators cannot be greedy, have fantastical expectations or laud our own accomplishments before we reach the final destination.  One error in our thought could lead us to a doomed trap.

Verse 054

Be strict with our self-discipline, and be generous and kind to others.  Always adopt an attitude of forgiveness toward others, and provide a path for those who repent to return to Tao.

Verse 055

If you wish to be free only in this lifetime, then the affinity between you and me exists only in this lifetime.  If you manifest great compassion and wisdom to help all sentient beings, then you will be with me side by side over many lifetimes.  This is the Tao cultivators’ Eternal, Grand, Merciful Vow.

Verse 056

Be vigilant with your thoughts every minute and second.  Protect the spiritual light of life.

Verse 057

The time is urgent.  Sentient beings are currently facing many calamities, so why not cherish this time and put our best effort into self-cultivation and pioneering Tao?  How can we waste our time gossiping and judging others?  How can you still squander your time?

Verse 058

My disciples, the Heavenly timing of the White Stage does not allow for slacking and procrastination.  We must move forward, utilizing and sharing the help and grace that we have received from buddhas.  They are waiting patiently for us to fulfill our purpose.

Verse 059

In the process of the cultivation and pioneering Tao, how can we nourish our virtue and uplift our spirit without all these trials, frustrations, and inter-personal difficulties? I hope you will realize the true meaning of those challenges.  Complaining, worrying or indulging your senses will only make things worse.
